Barrett
performed the song, "Never Go Back," written especially for him by
David Kirshenbaum. Hosted by Time Out New York theatre critic Adam Feldman,
established and emerging writers and singers take to the stage in a concert
providing an inside look at the future of musical theatre.

Barrett (along with fellow hosts, Michael Arden, Todd Buonopane, Celia Keenan-Bolger
and composer Stephen Schwartz) introduced his good friend, and "new
voice," Abby Lee, at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. (Link)
Project Shaw's WIDOWERS' HOUSES November 19, 2007
Barrett played Mr. William de Burgh Cockane in Project
Shaw's presentation
of WIDOWERS' HOUSES by George Bernard Shaw. Produced and directed by David
Staller, the play also starred Kathy Brier, Jeremy Webb, Sarah Moon, Fritz
Weaver, and Lenny Wolpe. Time Out NY's Adam Feldman narrated, and New York
Magazine's Jeremy McCarter hosted. "Shaw's first play. A comedy, of course,
which links British aristocracy and the glamour of slum housing."

Barrett sang "Dancing
Through Life" from WICKED, "Corner of the Sky" from PIPPIN,
and "All For The Best" from
GODSPELL
in the Kaufman Center's "Broadway Close Up, "Stephen Schwartz: Magic to
Do" concert
at the new TimesCenter. Sean Hartley (librettist of CUPID AND PSYCHE) hosted
a discussion wih Stephen about his writing, and Barrett, Liz Callaway, Lisa
Howard, Marni Nixon, Darius de Haas, James Royce Edwards, Jason Robinson, Ben
Schrader and Douglas Fabian performed his songs. John Znydarsic directed the
evening with musical direction by John O'Neill.
Broadway Flea Market September 23rd, 2007
Barrett signed autographs and took photos 11am
- Noon at the Celebrity Table of the 21st
Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction in Shubert Alley, in exchange
for donations to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Other celebrities in
the 11am time slot were: Sir Ian McKellen, John Gallagher, Jr., Lea Michelle,
F. Murray Abraham, Milena Govich, and Kevin Chamberlain among others. This
year, the Celebrity Area brought in over $18,000 and the whole day raised $559,000.

"Friends with Benefits" July 30, 2007
Monday, July 30, 9:30pm Barrett performed the song "Breeze Off the River" from
THE FULL MONTY in "Friends with Benefits," a performance to benefit
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at the Metropolitan Room.
Also donating their time and talent were Carey Anderson, Nikki M. James, Terri
Klausner, Raymond J. Lee, Steve Marzullo, Lauren Mufson, Jay Rogers, Gerard
Salvador, Noah Weisberg, Amy Wolk, Kristine Zbornik and more.
