Broadway Stars on Christopher Street November 17, 2003
Barrett performed "She Loves Me" from SHE LOVES ME and "Lonely
Town" from ON THE TOWN at Broadway Stars on Christopher Street at The
Lucille Lortel Theatre. Hosted by Carole Shelley, the evening also featured
Victoria Clarke, Brian D'Arcy James, Sara Gettelfinger, Laura Marie Duncan,
Justin Bohon and Karen Murphy, with musical direction by Kevin Stites. The
evening benefitted the ministries of outreach at The Church of St. Luke in
the Fields.
HOW HE LIED TO HER HUSBAND Reading November 6, 2003
Barrett played He in a reading of George Bernard Shaw's one-act play, HOW HE
LIED TO HER HUSBAND directed by Tony award-winning director, Melvin Berhardt,
as part of the "Food for Thought" reading series.
BERNICE BOBS HER MULLET Reading July 29, 2003
Barrett played Warren in BERNICE BOBS HER MULLET, a reading of a new play by
Joe Major, suggested by the short story "Bernice Bobs Her Hair" by
F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also in the cast were Jenn Colella, Michelle Kittrell,
Robb Sapp, and Amanda Ryan Paige.
JOHN AND PAUL Benefit Concert May
7, 2001
Barrett played George Harrison in Stephen Schecter's JOHN AND PAUL: The Musical
Story of a Friendship that Changed the World, a benefit for the Great Spirits
Foundation. The show was a musical biography of Lennon and McCartney and also
featured André De Shields, Stephen Bogardus and was directed by Marléne
Danielle.
