Barrett starred as Cupid in this contemporary twist of the ancient greek myth about the God of Love falling in love with a feisty mortal princess. The musical, which played at the John Houseman Studio Theatre from September 24, 2003 to October 26, 2003, featured book and lyrics by Sean Hartley, music by Jihwan Kim, direction by Timothy Childs, and choreography by Devanand Janki. CUPID AND PSYCHE also starred Laura Marie Duncan (Venus), Deborah Lew (Psyche) and Logan Lipton (Mercury).
