for a total of two and a half years. |

COUNTY SPELLING BEE at The Circle in the Square Theatre for a total of
ten months - from July 11th,

July 22 - July 27 Barrett will be playing Jamie in TIO PEPE, a new five person play by Matthew Lopez directed by Caitlin Moon - part of the Summer Play Festival (SPF) at The Public. Eight performances only - tickets are $10.

Monday, July 28, 8pm Barrett will be performing in "Gravid Water" at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. New York's top improvisers share the stage with stars from Broadway and beyond, in scenes from Stoppard to Sophocles, and everything in between! Barrett played Jordy Jr. in a three week New York workshop production of GIANT, score by Michael John LaChiusa, book by Sybille Pearson. Eric Schaeffer directed, and The Signature Theatre in D.C. produced the new musical, based on the Edna Ferber novel by the same name. The 1956 movie starred Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean.
On April 22, 2008 Barrett played court jester Tu-Ping in a workshop presentation of THE NIGHTINGALE with music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater. James Lapine directed at New York Theatre Workshop. Also in the cast were Tonya Pinkins and Marc Kudisch.

On March 30, 2007, Barrett made his network television debut as Dylan on "Six Degrees" on ABC. Barrett had a scene (with Jay Hernandez) on episode 108, entitled, "Get a Room." If you missed the episode (or want to watch it again), it can be viewed at ABC.com

In 2003, Barrett shot an American Express Web-mercial starring Seinfeld & Superman, directed by Barry Levinson. He's in the cast of "Oh, Wyoming!" towards the end. (On the left in blue!) Watch it here! And here's a behind-the-scenes look that Barrett appears in briefly.
